This firm was the successor to S. Colman and was located at 56 Gold Street in New York. Established in 1840. No publications after 1841 have been seen. Between 1834 and 1835 Giffing had been associated with Elam Bliss and Decius W. Wadsworth in the firm, Bliss & Wadsworth.

A Mother's Library for Little Folks

This publisher printed this series in 1841. The first four books were initially published by S. Colman. It appears that the fifth book was added by this firm. Of note is that the first four books were also part of the eight volume A Mother's Library for Little Folks published by Edward Kearny who shared the 56 Gold Street address.
