E. H. Pease & Co. (Erastus H. Pease), Albany

Erastus Pease was born in Connecticut. Erastus along with his cousin, Richard Pease, moved to Albany in about 1833. In about 1834 Erastus opened up the Sunday School Depository and Theological bookstore at 82 State street.

(Randomly Erastus is used instead of the "E" initial.) All the publishing activity took place at 82 State Street.
Pease & Fisk succeeded E. H. Pease and Co. in 1853.

This firm published four series.
They were first published in 1847.
