World Publishing House, New York

The Leavitt and Allen Brothers publishing firm moved in 1875 to new facilities in the New York Trade Center and changed its name to The World Publishing House. Henry S. Allen was the manager. During his time with this company Allen also published and sold subscription books.

By August, 1878 the firm had dissolved and its plates were sold at auction.

The "Noble Aims" books written by Mrs. Tuthill were included in the "prose books" set of numerous titles of various genres and are not considered a series per se.
