Mussey did all the first editions of all the titles in this series
in 1842. The first four books were copyrighted in 1841 however by T. H.
Carter. Books #5 and #6 were copyrighted by Mussey in 1842.
Mussey reprinted the series in 1843, 1844 and 1845.
These books are in cloth and have various patterns of blindstamped
embossed covers. Gilt spine title and decorations are noted.
One of the 1844 books is 7" x 4.5" (see below). All of the others are
6.5" x 4.25".
