This Library was introduced by Robert Carter & Sons around 1873. By 1875 there was a No. 1 and No. 2.

The 1873 edition of the Library consisted of 50 book which are listed here.

The later Libraries' book lists of 50 titles each have not been seen.

These collections of cloth-bound books were not sold separately but rather within wooden case.
