Grandfather's Faith was released in the fall of 1871. It was noted to be the first volume in the "Dare to do Right" Series.

In 1872 "Our Four Boys" was advertised as the second volume in the series. By 1874 the series had added books #3, 4, and 5. The latter two titles had been published in non series formats previously.

Editions of the series noted in 1872 (#1,2), 1874 (#1-3), 1875, 1876, 1879, 1881, 1882.

I suspect that there is an earlier blindstamped format of volumes #4 and 5.

Cloth. Various colors. Gilt letterboxes and lettering on the cover and the spine. Black line drawn decorations on the cover. 6.75" x 4.5".
