This Library was introduced in 1877. The forty volumes were sold in a wooden case. Initially this Library was called the "Infant's Economical Sunday-School Library" and was a companion to the Economical Sunday-School Library which was also released in 1877 and was subsequently called Economical Sunday-School Library "A".

All of these title were anonymously authored. These books were previously published in other Dodd, Mead & Co. series in different formats.
