Perkinpine & Higgins published the first edition of Blind Nellie (Nelly).
The series was first published in 1872.
No non series editions of volumes #1-5 have been seen.
Perkinpine & Higgins changed the titles of #1 and #2 from previous editions. It added the protagonists names at the beginning of the title.

Previously Titles #1-5 made up the "Soldier Boy's Library".

The books of this series have the 830 Arch Street address on the title page.

The first edition of Blind Nelly with the Fourth Street title page address is shown just below.
The title "Nelly" was changed to "Nellie" for the 1871 volumes.


The only format of this series seen at this time is the 1872 book below.
