(with six in preparation).
32 pages. Plain 15 cents. Board Covers 25 cents.
All of the books were illustrated by H. W. Herrick.
Here is the first format. The books are in wraps with a book
appropriate cover illustration within a common decorative template.

By the early 1870's there were 12 titles were included in the series.

By 1875 the series was divided into two sections. Pictures from the
Bible was deleted and replaced by Mrs. Barbauld's Hymns.
These titles were published into the late 1880's. The back cover ads
note that this series has been divided into two six book sets.
