By 1879 the Mayne Reid titles were no longer separated by series but were noted in one list.
In 1878 and 1879 all 18 Mayne Reid titles were published in the
"Elephant" format.

In 1880 and 1882 the "arc covers" were published for all of the
titles. (7.75" x 5.25")

The Lion covers were only published in 1881. Multiple color cloths

Miller also published "Stories about Animals". This title was not part
of a boxed set. It was added to the Miller list in 1878. I have seen
this title in the "arc" format (1880, 1882) and the "lion" cover
(1881).
