This series consisted of 12 volumes which were sold at 8 cents each
while McLoughlin was at 24 (1859-1862) and later 30 Beekman Street
(1863-1869). The latest books had no address on the front cover.
By 1866 the series had been divided into two separate series: Mother's
Series and Father's Series.
Now the Mother's Series had 6 titles:

This series was listed as late in the 1887 McLoughlin catalogues.
Illustrated. Each page has text and a colored picture. Twelve pages
including the covers.
Wraps. Book appropriate cover picture. Twelve pages including the
covers. 5.5" x 4.5"
Transitional copy with 30 Beekman Street address on the front cover
and 24 Beekman Street address on the back cover. This book was
published in 1862.
The latest format for this series has no date on the front cover. The
cover illustrations are the same as the previous editions.
