Inglenook Series
Orient Series/ Hollyhock Series/ Hemlock Series/ Myrtle Series
All of these series were published by Dodd, Mead & Co.
The five volume Sunset Series was published between 1879 and 1881. The
five volume Inglenook series was published in 1880 and 1881.
In 1882 the ten titles were combined to form the Orient Series. These
ten titles comprised the Hollyhock Series in 1883, the Hemlock Series
in 1884 and the Myrtle series in 1887.
There is nothing in the books themselves which indicates which series
they are part of. Originally all of these volumes came in boxed sets.
The boxes had a label noting the series name. I have not seen any of
the boxes so I am unable to determine the precise series for any of
the formats.

All the books are cloth. Various colors. Covers have pictures or
decorations with a non book specific appliqué. 6" x 4".
