Nita and Freddy's Library

Published by Thomas Y. Crowell
1. Nita's Music Lesson
2. Young Housekeeper
3. The Red Apple and Other Stories
4. The Iron Boot and Other Stories

The other two titles are not known with certainty. The first four volumes however are also in Archie Vernon's Library.
I suspect that the last two titles are:
Queer Lesson and Unselfish Freddy

Thomas Y. Crowell introduced this series in 1878.

It appears that Crowell published this series and Archie Vernon's Series at the same time. The books of this series were cheaper and had 64 pages as opposed to Archie Vernon's Library books which had 124 pages. More short stories were in the latter series' books.

The titles in this series were later published in Crowell's Sunday School Library, No. 5 and No. 6.

Each book has three illustrations.
