Oliver Optic's Annual
This yearly volume was first published in 1888. It consisted of
children's stories and illustrations and was edited by Optic. The
contents (text and illustrations) of these books come from the "Our
Little Ones and the Nursery" published by the Russell Publishing
Company as well there were yearly collations printed by Estes and
Lauriat.
The last yearly book was in 1899, two years after Optic's death.
These books had illuminated board covers which were different for each
yearly volume. 9.75" x 8"
The 1899 volume was published by Dana Estes & Company.
