The first editions of these titles were published and copyrighted by Andrew F. Graves in 1868. Subsequently the volumes were published by Graves & Ellis in 1871-1872 and after that by Andrew F. Graves until the mid-late 1870's.
This series was combined with the "Pearl Series for Boys" to make up a twelve volume series -"Pearl Series" which was sold as a boxed set. Also called in 1868 Mrs. Leslies Bible Pearls in 1868 (for Boys/ Girls).
