This fifteen title library was introduced by Thomas Y. Crowell in 1877. Later it was published by Thomas Y. Crowell & Co. Previously most of the books were published by Warren & Wyman as well as Thomas Y. Crowell in series' formats. It was last published in 1887.

These titles were later included in the Sunday-School Library. No. 6.
