De Wolfe, Fiske & Co. published this series in 1885. Previously it had been published by Walker, Wise & Co, Walker, Fuller and Company, Horace B. Fuller, Sheldon & Co and John R. Anderson.
In 1885 De Wolfe, Fiske and Co. made an arrangement with the Anderson School-Book Company to publish its entire line of books, including this series. Thus the format for this series is the same as John R. Anderson’s later format.
