The first editions of volumes #1-3 were published by Wm. J. Reynolds & Co. in 1854.

In 1857 Brown, Taggard and Chase republished #1-3 and printed the first editions of #4-6. Thereafter this series was reprinted by Brown and Taggard, Fred'k A. Brown & Co., Taggard and Thompson, Thompson, Bigelow & Brown and Thompson, Brown & Co.

Taggard & Thompson published reprinted this six volume series in two formats. It printed editions in 1863, 1864, 1865 and 1867
