In 1865 this book was announced as being the first of six to be published by Lindsay & Blakiston in the "Woodcliff Library".
There is no evidence that any other books were published by this publisher. By late 1865 Lindsay & Blakiston ads noted Miss Mckeever’s popular works but no library or series.

In 1877 James A. Moore published a four volume "Woodcliff Library" which included the "Woodcliff Children". In the late 1860's J. P. Skelly & Co. published a ten volume "Woodcliff Children" series.
