This library was published by the Massachusetts Sabbath School Library in the 1850's. Lists ranged from 50-170 titles. Subsequently in 1868 the Congregational Sabbath School and Publishing Society printed this set. Later in 1870 the Congregational Publishing Society published this library.

The early books are cloth with marbled sides. 18 mo.
The later volumes are cloth, blindstamped with gilt spine lettering.
