This series was introduced by Joseph Knight Company in 1894. By 1897 L. C. Page & Co. was publishing the series.

The books published by Joseph Knight Company in 1893-1895 all note the date at the bottom of the title page. Some 1896-1897 volumes have no date on the title page.

The post 1900 new books in this series are not included at this site.

Formats:
In 1894 and early 1895 all the books seen have a stereotyped cover format.


1895 volumes have a floral decoration (variations are noted) surrounding the title, author and series name.


The Joseph Knight books in 1896-1897 and the subsequent L. C. Page & Company has an illustration on the cover in addition to the title, author and series name. Each title has a different picture.

The Page dust jackets matches the cover design/illustration.
A number of these volumes are pictured. The cover illustration remained the same over many years.
