Harper & Brothers published the first editions of all of these stories beginning in 1854.
The 36 stories, all of which are 160 pages each, were released monthly in paperback form.
(The dates are shown above.) In 1857 all 36 were also published in cloth as single books and as 12 volumes each including three stories.
