5. Jeannette's Cisterns (Copyright by H. B. Nims & Co. 1881)

Introduced as a series by Moore & Nims in 1867 after the first volume had been published. This was despite the fact that the second book in the series had not been published. Note the 1867 first edition title page states "Magnet Stories" at the top.

In 1882 volume #5 was published in the same format as the other four books. In 1883 it was included in ads for the now five volume library. No 1881 edition of "Jeannette's Cisterns" has been seen. Whether a non-series 1881 volume for this title exists is unknown at this time.

1868 editions co-published with Wynkoop & Sherwood.

This series was also published by Nims & Knight, Joseph Knight Company, L. C. Page & Co. and Ward and Drummond. The Ward and Drummond books are the same as the Format 3 volumes. The other publishers' books have not been seen.
