Henry McGrath & Sons began publishing this set in 1887. The formats of these books are the same as those in the Parochial & Sunday School Library - First Series

Cloth. Various colors. Blindstamped with publisher's embossed initials on the cover. (Later books have an embossed cover pattern without the initials.) Spine has gilt lettering and design. 24 mo.
